Examples of abrasive materials, before which it is appropriate to protect the inside of the device:
cement, cement dust, slag, coke, coke dust, coal, coal dust, combustion products, wood chips, fly ash, silica sand, feldspar sand
Example 1:
processed material: fine dust and sand materials - e.g. cement dust, coke dust, coal dust, ash and more
equipments: mills, screeners, separators, cyclones, pipe components with large diameter
wear resistant protection: inner lining from wear resistant concrete Tribet
lining form: - compact concrete lining (jointless), thickness is usually 20 to 30 mm
- thickness of the concrete lining can be evenly increasing according the local impact abrasion in device
- lining can be covered arbitrarily complex equipment without joints
- perfect adhesion of the lining to the surface is ensured by welded holding mesh

Example 2:
processed material: coarser material with larger grain sizes - e.g. coke, coal, clinker, slag, sands and more
equipments: mills, screeners, separators, cyclones, piping components, reflective plates, chutes, bulk conveyors
wear resistant protection: inner lining from wear resistant ceramics Keralox
lining form: - tiles glued by adhesive (two component epoxy or MS-polymer)
- the usual tile thickness 25 mm or 13 mm
- the dimensions of the tiles usually larger (up to a size of 200x200x50mm) or tailor-made tiles
- larger tiles can have a central hole for a screw and plug

Example 3:
processed material: dust and sand materials to a grain size 10 mm
equipments: chutes, hoppers, exit boxes, silos, bins, screw feeders, bulk conveyors
wear resistant protection: lining from wear resistant ceramics Keralox
lining form: - tiles glued by adhesive (two component epoxy or MS-polymer)
- the usual tile thickness 2-8 mm
- the dimensions of the tiles usually smaller (20x20mm, 100x25mm, etc.) or tailor-made tiles

Example 4:
processed material: fine dust and sand materials - e.g. cement dust, coke dust, coal dust, ash and more
equipments: pneumatic transport, pipeline parts with small diameters
wear resistant protection: - inner lining from wear resistant concrete Tribet (standard thicknesses 20-40 mm)
- outer pocket (or bandage) pouring by wear resistant concrete Tribet (may be very thick)

Example 5:
processed material: coarser material with larger grain sizes - e.g. coke, coal, clinker, slag, sands and more
equipments: chutes, overflows, silos, hoppers, reflective plates
wear resistant protection: lining from wear resistant ceramics Baddalox in form of tiles
lining form: standard sizes of tiles - 200x200x30mm (glued to the surface with glue or cement)
- 200x200x30mm with central recessed screw
- 280x140x40mm with a central hole for a screw and plug

Example 6 - flexible bends for pneumatic conveying extremely resistant ceramic liner:
processed material: fine also coarse dust and sand materials
equipments: flexible (bendable) pipe components with ceramic inlays
wear resistant protection: inner liner is from extremely resistant ceramics Keralox
lifespan: multiple lifetime against standardized solutions
Example 7 - grill-separator with ceramic rods:
processed material: coke (or coal)
equipments: grill-separator for coke with a sifting from 25 mm to 90 mm
wear resistant protection: rods are made up of castings made from wear-resistant ceramics Baddalox
lifespan: lifespan of a ceramic rods in comparison with the standard metal rods is up to 10-fold
